This award is given each year across specific business sectors to recognize entrepreneurs who are hidden pillars of Indian Economy who have and making our Nation proud nationally and globally. This award is to recognize hidden talents within the country.
Economic Times Edge is an initiative by Economic Times a leading financial daily, in which they bring about key management personnel and decision makers to a common platform, where this group share their key and crucial insights as well as the vast experience, they bring in. ET Edge believes that it’s essential that bringing about the success stories of entrepreneurs, should serve as inspirations for emerging and young entrepreneurs. ET Edge besides the presentation of plaque to the award winner also showcases the journey of the achievers in the coffee table book published by ET Edge.
There were couple of criteria for the award, which included leadership style, # of employees, market potential and scalability. The awardee needs to be India based, and his business should have grown at least by 15% year on year. International and national footprint is another essential criterion. Shri Rakeshji fulfilled all the above criterion and hence he was awarded this year’s Most Promising Entrepreneur Award.
The award was presented in a glittering ceremony attended by who’s who from the corporate world as well as celebrities on 28th Sep’21 held at J W Marriott. The event had panel discussions on Changing Scenario for the Indian Entrepreneurship Ecco-system, presentation on Changing Indian Entrepreneur Eco-system. Celebrities like Kunal Kapoor, Susanne Khan and Genelia and Ritesh Deshmukh were present.
