Product Technical Data & Specifications

SPT (Surface Protection Technology), developed first time in India by AMULYA MICA, gives your Laminate additional strength to withstand Stains and Scratches more effectively.

Specially developed imported abrasive tissue papers, impregnated with specially formulated Melamine Resin, are overlaid on the imported design papers for manufacturing SPT laminates. Coating of superior grade tissue paper with improved melamine resin gives additional protection to the décor paper thereby enhancing its property of resistance to stain and scratch much more than the conventional technology. To make Amulya Mica more durable in actual use, its core support has been crafted with imported high quality (with low ash content) kraft paper impregnated with straight phenolic resin. Use of straight phenolic resin ensures better bonding in between the layers of kraft paper in Amulya Mica laminates and makes it 100% free from any attack from termite, borer and fungus. The process as a whole guarantees that Amulya Mica laminate beats ageing and needs practically ZERO maintenance.

However, if necessary, cleaning with a solution of warm water and mild detergent is all that should be required to maintain Amulya Mica’s long lasting beauty.
